Day 10 – Black Swan

Today’s inspiration is Natalie Portman in Black Swan.

The key to this look is a classic ballerina bun and a killer feather headpiece. I created my own, but one could easily be bought for the craft challenged out there. I started with rhinestones and a string of pearl beads.

Then I took as assortment of feathers including long feather quills and shorter maribou feathers.

Then I took my handy Magna-Tac glue and got to work.

And here’s what I made….

Then I created a sleek and very tight ballerina bun and threw the clip in my hair.
