Nerd in the City

Silly me, I thought I would casually dive back into watching The Walking Dead to catch up on the series before the premier of the new Rick and Michonne show “The Ones Who Live.”

But I must have forgotten my basic genetic DNA. Because I’m not a casual or chill person. I am a passionate person. When I dive into something, I dive hella deep, ya’ll. I dive to the bottom of that fandom and I explore every single nook and cranny. That’s just who I am.

And this reccent forray back into The Walking Dead has sparked a severe vortex that I, frankly, shouldn’t be surprised by. But maybe I did forget a little bit. The last 3 years being what they were… I know I’m not alone in saying I had forgotten parts of me. And my obsessive, deep dive, vortexy, nerdy side is one thing that maybe, just maybe, I forgot about.

Don’t worry. Rick, Glenn, Michonne, Daryl, Carol and the whole gang reminded me very quickly of just who I am!!

I am now prepared to put The Walking Dead firmly in my top 5 favorite shows of all time. (Don’t ask which slot it takes up, I don’t know yet!)

And just like that… I’m back. Much like Rick and Michonne!!

Damn!! It’s good to have them back!
