Nerd in Another City

Today’s inspiration is Tiffani Amber Thiessen’s Kelly Kapowski from Saved By the Bell. A beloved 80’s classic!!

To begin with, your two best friends when trying to accomplish this look are going to be your hair brush and hair spray. Two staples of the 1980’s!!

Start by tease your bangs up, about as high as you can get them. They will settle back down after you play with them a bit.

Next just spray your entire head with a nice coating of hairspray. Any kind will do.

Finally pull the majority of your hair and all of your bangs to one side and play with it till it falls how you want it to. And then you’ll have the perfect 80’s ‘do! Don’t forget to add accessories, like my pink and black splatter paint button earrings that I got at Goodwill for $0.99. The 80’s was all about accessorizing!
