25 days of (nerdy) Christmas!

“God rest ye, nerdy gentlemen!”

Day 10: Star Wars Snowflakes

There are many great tutorials out there on how to make these snowflakes. There are even templates you can print out and just cut like these at BuzzFeed.

Here are the ones that I did. I chose to make a Stormtrooper flake and a Boba Fett flake.

Boba Fett

Start by drawing a circle on a piece of paper.
imageThen cut out the circle.
imageNext fold in half once…
imageTwice…
imageThree times a lady… (this last one fold into thirds)
imageWhen you open your paper you should have 12 sections.
imageThen draw on the template (or just print it out from this website)
imageWhen you’re done cutting him out, Boba Fett will have 2 antennae.
imageCut off one of them from each Boba Fett section of your snowflake.
imageHang and enjoy!!!

Stormtrooper

This snowflake begins the same way the Boba Fett snowflake does. When you get to the template portion just draw on the stormtrooper template instead of Boba Fett.
imageAnd there you go.

Double the snowflakes, double the fun!!!!

Day 2: Tardis snowflakes

“We wish you a nerdy Christmas!!”

Nothing says holidays like these little beauties. There are a couple versions on Pinterest, but some are very complicated so I made my own simplified version. Very easy to copy or to alter and make your own!

Start with a square sheet of paper, whatever color you want. I chose white cause it’s very snowflakey.

Next fold it in half and create a triangle and then fold in half once more.

Next draw on your Tardis.

Then cut out.

And voila!! Christmasey goodness, Doctor Who style!

Make as many as you’d like to create a Winter Whonderland.
