#3: Minnie Mouse
#4: Princess Leia
#7: Maria from Roswell
#6: Buffy the Vampire Slayer
#7: Harley Quinn
#8: Padme Amidala
There are plenty more to choose from, but there are my personal favorites.
Do you have a favorite costume from your past?
Day 4: Rosie the Riveter
Granted, today’s hair is on the easier side, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t a classic!
Rosie the Riveter has become a classic role model for feminists the world over. And in our culture right now, the word feminist is something of a hot topic! Perhaps it’s always been so. But nevertheless this lady paved the way for women to take charge, feel powerful and look awesome doing it!
The main points to get here are the head scarf and the rolled bangs. It doesn’t matter what color scarf you get. As long as you have attitude to go along with it!
Make sure to check back tomorrow for a brand new nerdy hairstyle and head over to my You Tube channel for more fun stuff!!!
Day 16: Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Today was just a mohawk kinda day.
And I didn’t even need any hairspray!!!
Day 2: Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones
Today’s inspiration is Daenerys Stormborn, Mother of Dragons and the once and future Khaleesi of Westeros. Played by Emilia Clarke on HBO’s Game of Thrones.
Dany has seen many epic hairdos on GoT. Mainly involving intricate braids.
But this look is most current, from season 3 and my particular favorite.
Part hair in the middle. Create two braids starting just off center of your part on each side of your head.
Pin together in the back. Then create another set of braids on each side closer to the ears. Also tie those together in the back.
Finish off by giving all the hanging hair a bit of a curl.
