Day 13: Elsa from Frozen

After an unanticipated and unwelcome day off yesterday, I am right back in it today with this year’s Queen of Halloween costumes, Elsa from Disney’s Frozen. It seemed like everywhere I turned on Halloween there was a little girl dressed as Elsa. I believe we had about 13 at our preschool alone. She is a pretty cool character!! And no matter how many times “Let It Go” gets played, I still can’t seem to get sick of it. So here she is, Queen Elsa of Arendelle.

I don’t often lament the lack of my long hair, but for this one I can just imagine the kind of twisted bun I could’ve accomplished back then. But these days I’ll have to settle for a more modest version of Elsa’s coronation hair.

Day 26: Cinderella

Today’s hair is dedicated to my dear friend who is currently at the hospital preparing to give birth to (I think a boy) a little tiny baby. Dreams do come true, little nibblet!!

Here’s my interpretation.

Day 17: Snow White from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves

Lips as red as a rose, skin as white as snow, hair as black as a black sharpie marker… wait that doesn’t sound right…

Listen… blonde’s can be hunted for their hearts as well.

Day 27: Princess Jasmine from Aladdin

Today is the first day of San Diego Comic Con. It’s also the first day of Zachary Levi’s Nerd HQ, which is the real reason (and best reason)for being in San Diego, CA this weekend!!

To kick off the finals days of 30 Days of Nerdy hair, I chose Princess Jasmine from Disney’s Aladdin.

To create this Disney princess look, I started with pretty tealish ribbon. Created a headband in the front and tied it at the nape of my neck. Then I rolled the front pieces of my hair around to the back, bobby pinning along the way.

Next I created a low pony tail and wrapped that in the same ribnon, securing in the back with bobbys.
Finally I created a second pony tail half way down and did the same thing with the ribbon.

Day 18: Princess of Aurora from Sleeping Beauty

Today’s is one of my favorite Disney princesses. Though not my very favorite (hint: brunette, blue bow, reads a lot.)
But ‘Hail to the Princess Aurora,’ none the less!

To create this Disney perfect hair, I used my straightener to create curls facing towards my face. Then I made a big roll curl with my bangs in the front and topped it off with a black headband from Claire’s.
