Fandoms I’m Thankful For

Thanksgiving is this Thursday. A time to take stock. A time to examine life. A time to count your blessings. A time to be thankful…for FANDOMS!! These are the ones I’m thankful for:

#1: Star Wars
image
Ok…here’s why. I grew up with Star Wars. It’s the first fandom I remember being crazy about. It makes me think of family. It makes me think of powerful female figures. It makes me think Hubba Hubba Han Solo. It’s the ultimate fandom for this nerdy girl!

#2: Star Wars
image
Ok…here’s why. Ever since the announcement that Disney purchased Lucasfilm from George Lucas, I have been counting down the days till the big day. Sure, every Star Wars fan knows that May is the pivotal month for the galaxy far, far away, but I kinda love that we are getting Star Wars for Christmas this year. What can I say, I’m thankful!

#3: Star Wars
image
Ok…here’s why. The Star Wars Universe is a vast and beautiful place. I have been reading books from the expanded universe for many years. So yes, I was initially disappointed that the canon was disbanded. (RIP Mara Jade. You will always be in our hearts!) But I’ve had plenty of time to accept the new Star Wars future. Which now includes brand new expanded universe books. And the beauty is that the old canon books are still highly enjoyable works. Bring on the

#4: Star Wars
image
Ok…here’s why. Star Wars brings people together. Don’t believe me? Attend Star Wars Celebration sometime. Read up on the 501st and the charity works that they are involved in. Read the story of Daniel and the petition to allow him an early viewing of The Force Awakens before his death on. When Star Wars fans gather, great things happen, internets are broken and so are records. If you still doubt the power of the Star Wars fan base, just keep an eye on the box office the weekend of December 18th. You’ll feel the Force then, I can promise you that!

#5: Marvel, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Doctor Who, LOST, Star Trek, Flash/ Arrow, Sherlock, Downton Abbey, Supergirl, Once Upon A Time, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead…
image
Ok…ok! I like a couple other fandoms besides Star Wars and I’m just as grateful for them. When the prospect of Star Wars looms…everything else just pales in comparison. But each of these fandoms (and many more) all have their places in my heart!!

Come countdown to The Force Awakens with me on Instagram. Tag me: @nerdinthesand and use the hashtag: #StarWarsChallenge

Favorite Things about Halloween

I love Halloween!! What’s not to love?? There’s no better prompt than that for the season of ghouls and goblins! Thanks to The Nerdy Girlie and Super Space Chick for their weekly blogger link up! It’s a favorite part of my Fridays!!

#1: Costumes
image
If you’ve been following me for any stretch of time, you’ll know how much I love a good costume. Or costume hair or costume make-up. Dressing up is just so much fun. And an entire day dedicated to the pursuit of the pretend…sign me up! In fact my whole family loves dressing up so much, we decided one costumed holiday wasn’t enough. So now we do it for Christmas too. Why not extend the joy!! (Stay tuned for more about this year’s family Star Trek themed Christmas adventure.)

#2: CANDY
image
I have a major sweet tooth. I love Skittles and Starburst and 3 Musketeers bars and chocolate and caramel and sugary sweet substances of all kind! Except those non-distinct orange and black wrapper candies that always end up at the bottom of the candy bucket. The ones you try and convince your younger siblings are the best candies ever invented. (Was that only me??) I don’t eat much candy these days…my dentist would not approve. But I still enjoy the occasional piece of candy. Halloween is the perfect season for a little splurging.

#3: Spooky Decorations
image
I need to clarify. I love walking around neighborhoods looking at spooky house decorations. See that waving skeleton up there…that’s as spooky as I can take! I do not enjoy haunted houses and I really hate being scared! Scary movies? Nope. Haunted insane asylum? I steer clear. Creepy abandoned mansion? Never please!
But jolly pumpkins and happy, waving skeletons…yes, I will enjoy that. Thanks you!

#4: Trick or Treaters
image
When I was a kid, my great joy of Halloween was going Trick or Treating around the neighborhood with my brother and our little cousin. We lived in a great neighborhood too. One where the street would turn into a block party and where most of the houses gave out full-sized candy bars. One neighbor even baked these amazing oatmeal cookies that we looked forward to every year. Nowadays, I love to stay home with a giant bowl of candy and watch the tiny Trick or Treaters come ask me for candy (just the minis, I’m not made of money!) Tiny Iron Men and adorable Cinderellas. Homemade ghosts and store bought witches. I guess when I was little, I never imagined that it could be fun to be on the other side of the door on Halloween night.

#5: The Inevitable Harry Potter Marathon
image
Once a year I dive head first into the wonderful world of Harry Potter. Tis the season for Hogwarts adventures. Witches, wizards, goblins, dementors, etc. Harry Potter was practically made to be enjoyed around Halloween. Makes sense that ABC Family would have their Harry Potter marathon at this time! I look forward to it every year. Sure…i own all the movies. Sure…i can watch them whenever I want. But I absolutely still watch them on ABC Family everytime they’re on!
image
(Here’s hoping #Freeform keeps the Harry Potter marathon alive!!)

Favorite Fictional Teachers

#1 – Mr. Feeny

image

This one is a no brainer. Growing up there was one teacher we all wanted to have and that was Feeeeeeny! Fee-hee-hee-heeeny! He cared about his students with crucial life lessons and was always there when they needed him. Always! From elementary school through college. Now that’s dedication!

#2 – Minerva McGonagall

image

Any good teacher uses a mixture of love and tough love to teach. Professor McGonagall is the perfect example of this. She genuinely cares about all her students and looks the other way if the situation calls for it. And sure, you’re not supposed to play favorites, but Minerva always had a soft spot for the boy who lived and his two best friends. In the final film of the franchise, it’s that moment when Minerva McGonagall calls for everyone to defend Hogwarts that makes me cry every time! I always wished to go to magical school and be taught be her!

#3 – John Keating

image

Good teachers teach. Great teachers inspire! And there are few fictional teachers as downright inspiring as Robin William’s John Keating from Dead Poets’ Society. ‘O Captain, My Captain’ I’d stand on my desk and follow you anywhere!

#4 – Mr. Holland

image

As a musician, I always had a special place in my heart for Mr. Holland, played by Richard Dreyfuss in the movie Mr. Holland’s Opus. Sure Mr. Holland wasn’t perfect. There was that whole, almost had an affaor with a student thing. But hey, even teachers aren’t perfect. This film had poignant life lessons and a truly delicious soundtrack. Win, win!

#5 – Corey Matthews

image

Yes, the same Corey Matthews from the beloved 90’s TGIF sitcom, Boy Meets World. Corey and Topanga are back with two adorable kids of their own and it’s their daughter Riley Matthews that’s learning about the world now. And just like Feeny before him, Corey has become the kid’s teacher, spirit guide and emotional counselor. Following them from elementary school into middle school (and here’s hoping he continues through college just like Feeny.) That’s not the only similarity to my #1 favorite fictional teacher! It seems like Corey really was paying attention in class all those years because he makes an excellent teacher and fans of Boy Meets World will love where they take these characters. (Plus Shawn comes back!!! And Eric and Angela and Mr. and Mrs. Matthews and yes…even Feeny returns a couple times.) It’s definitely a must watch!!

Honorable Mentions
I actually have a lot of teachers in my family. My mom is a preschool director. Dad teaches middle school (bless his heart.) Granny was an art teacher. Grandma was a teacher too. One of my best friends is a damn fine high school teacher. If one of them had been my teacher when I was a kid (obviously my parents taught me..but you know what I mean) then maybe I would have been a better student than I was.

Who do you wish had taught your classes? Or is there a real teacher who inspired you?

5 Favorite Things About Fall

I happen to be a summer girl myself. It’s my favorite season of all time and if I could just go from place to place just to always be where summer is, I would. My second favorite season is fall. It’s not so bad. But fall means winter is on the way, so it gets a bad rap with me. That being said, here’s what I like about fall.

#1 – Football Season

wpid-Screenshot_2013-11-02-21-31-53-1.png

I’m a die hard Florida State Seminoles fan. Cut me open and see that I bleed garnet and gold. So when fall rolls around, I know that it’s time to get my game face on! Don’t bother me on Saturdays, I’ll be watching the game!

#2 – Return of my favorite TV shows

0248b8a4fd8842658bd3a7cb6b0de6c6

These days, with Hulu and Netflix and summer programming, shows are always on and always new. But I still love the feeling of when favorite shows are returning after a 3+ month hiatus. Rumors start flying about what will happen on the new season and we all binge watch the previous seasons to catch up. I love TV and fall is the very best time to be a watcher.

#3 – Halloween

wpid-1435419038576.jpg

Fall means that Halloween is just around the corner! And I love Halloween. What more is there to say about it. Candy, costumes, fun and family!

#4 – Chilly Evenings

wpid-IMG_20131210_202647.jpg

Now, I like my weather like I like my men…hot, hot, hot! I prefer a nice balmy 82 degrees at Christmas time and I hate being cold. But there is something to be said for needing a nice, comfy sweater to wrap up in after 7pm. Whether you’re at the stadium, watching the game on a Friday or Saturday night or taking an evening stroll. Being wrapped in a sweater is a wonderful feeling.

#5 – Fairs, Festivals, Hay Rides and Pumpkin Patches

dj.uoczwlwz.170x170-75

There are fairs and festivals all year round, this I know. But when I think of fall, I think of County Fairs and Pumpkin Patches and Hay Rides and Pie Festivals. It makes the end of summer a little more appealing. And I love carving pumpkins or at least putting lots of stickers and gluing pom poms onto pumpkins. Can’t do that in the summer, can I!!

I guess there are plenty of reasons to like the fall and the best part is summer will always be back! Check out my friend and fellow blogger, The Littlest Fowler. She loves fall!!!

What do you love about fall?

5 Fandom Deaths I’m Still Upset About

Fair warning! This post contains many spoilers because one cannot talk fandom deaths without actually mentioning who it is that died. So if you haven’t watched Doctor Who, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, LOST, The Walking Dead or Game of Thrones than don’t look. Don’t be spoiled. Go watch those shows and come back…see you in a few months or a few years if you aren’t that dedicated to getting through them all.

Thanks to The Nerdy Girlie and Super Space Chick for creating 5 Fandom Friday.

Here goes…

#1 – Amy and Rory from Doctor Who

cd81f94dff70f27e180ef46c0a9832ec

OK, so the fans knew this one was coming. Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill were set to leave the show. It was either die or stop time traveling all together and Amy Pond would never have quit her raggedy man if she could help it. So they died. Death by old age, so not a bad way to go. But to be ripped from your own timeline by a Weeping Angel…no thanks. This episode still causes major waterworks every time I watch it. I’ll never get over losing Amy and Rory!!

#2 – Tara from Buffy the Vampire Slayer

8a6fa1ddefc462bd7b15d4482d5c66c4

There are quite a few upsetting deaths on BtVS (I’m looking at you Joyce and Jenny.) Even Buffy herself bit the bullet, not once up twice. But Tara’s death still manages to shock and upset me the most. When you see that blood splatter on Willow’s crisp white peasant blouse…Tara’s blood. Tara who was sweet and innocent and Willow’s lobster. Torn away from the mortal coil by a gun shot to the chest. This one stings because it smacks of reality. In a fantastical world like Buffy, to have died from something so human as a gun shot…well, it just sucks. We live in a world where this is far too common. And Tara’s death still feels completely unjust. Warren deserved the flaying that he got, if you ask me!

#3 – Charlie from LOST

0b6e8cac5dd069b6de6eff2970765a05

DANG! Charlie!! This one stings every time I think about it. You LOST fans know the keen loss. The pain still smarts! I never saw this one coming. I guess I should have. By season 3, people were being picked off like flies. I guess I still thought the core cast (the ones I like most) would be safe. Of course, we’d come to find out that no one is truly safe on LOST and it is Charlie’s death that really taught us that lesson. The words “Not Penny’s Boat” still haunt me. Charlie went out saving lives. The perfect symmetry to how he entered our lives. He began as a selfish, drugged out rock star and truly became a fan favorite (or at least this fan’s favorite!)

#4 – Ned Stark from Game of Thrones

8e202c0f0dbafe4140a418a7f6161c86

I’m a GOT book reader. I’ve read books 1-4 so I knew it was coming, but it still didn’t prepare me for the sadness of losing the Stark patriarch. Ned Stark was a man of justice and integrity. He kept the monarch in line and his own family. Tough job, especially when you have Lannisters against you. He was domed from the beginning because on Game of Thrones, the just and the moral get punished.

To be fair, there are more shocking and more horrifying deaths on Game of Thrones (see: Rob Stark, Catelyn Stark, Jon Snow, Ygritte, Khal Drogo, Oberyn Martell, etc.) but it’s Ned’s death that sets the tone for the series in season 1. It’s Ned’s death that sets the Lannisters up for their reign of power and ultimate downfall. And it’s Ned Stark who could have stopped the evil from spreading through Westeros. We miss you, Ned! (Please stop killing Sean Bean off of things I like!)

#5 – Hershel from The Walking Dead

e5d7f0afda9b9503f398f52de7ceb23c

The Walking Dead is another show where death is rampant and usual. It’s rarely surprising anymore (except if Darryl were to die… that would be shocking and surprising and completely upsetting…Don’t do that, AMC!) But I admit, Hershel’s death got me. I literally screamed when it happened. (That’s what happens when you watch TWD alone in your apartment with all the lights off.) Hershel was another example of someone who kept the balance. Being a good guy is a really tough business on TV. No one cared when Angela died or stupid Dale. It’s the good ones that truly rip the heart out. And Hershel’s death was my least favorite one (though Beth’s came pretty close.)

Honorable Mention – Tasha Yar from Star Trek: The Next Generation
fef62fdabeb5cb03caed9493079adf56

I want to give a shout out to one of the earliest fandom, TV deaths, Tasha Yar. Star Trek killed off Tasha way before it was cool to kill off characters. And no one saw that one coming because the internet wasn’t what it is today… or even a thing at all. So there were no rumors surrounding her upcoming death. Or fan theories about. She was an upstanding crew member who went on an away mission to a planet with a tar monster. She was taken by the tar monster…goodbye Tasha Yar.

If this post has left you feeling a little depressed and nostalgic for characters long gone, then definitely don’t go back and watch the happy times before they died. I tried that with season 1 of Game of Thrones…trust me, it only made things worse.

5 Geeks Who Inspire Me

Before this week, I’ve been away from the Blogosphere for a little while. And I have to share that I haven’t been the same without my blog or without you, my darling, nerdy readers. It’s a part of me. An extension of my brain and of my personality. And I think I’d forgotten that! I must have, because I thought it’d be a good idea to take a break from writing. When in fact, writing is exactly what I’ve always needed to help me figure out the cobwebs of my mind.

Whether it’s introspective blogs like I’ve been writing this past week, or blog topics that we write together as a community like today…I’ve remembered why I started blogging in the first place. And while I don’t promise never to take another break (cause sometimes we need such things) I do, however, promise not to neglect my little blog. She who has been there in so many dark moments. She whom I found over 4 years ago, but I suspect it’s she who found me!

This week’s 5 Fandom Friday topic is about Geeks who inspire me. Cutting this down to just 5 people is tough. There are so many amazing nerdy folks out there living the dream. But here are the ones who really speak to and inspire me!

#1: Felicia Day

5ee83a65570dee0a744dd5074151d6f6

She has offered nerd girl’s everywhere the inspiration to step out and shout “I’m a nerdy girl and proud of it.” She was a potential slayer in season 7 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and also starred opposite Nathan Fillion and Neil Patrick Harris in Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog which she helped write with Joss Whedon. She’s also the writer and star of her own extremely popular web series, The Guild. Founder of the nerd mecca that is Geek and Sundry and now author of her own autobiography (which I just bought last night and started reading), “You’re Never Weird on the Internet (almost).” Felicia Day has been where we nerd girls have all been and she’s made it to a place we sometimes wish we could reach. Acceptance. Acceptance of who she is, of the power she wields and of the world she lives in.

#2: Zachary Levi

00f8fda90581c35c71857372de16474e

If you’ve been reading my blog or following me on any social media platform, then this one is a no brainer! He’s the founder of The Nerd Machine and of Nerd HQ. He’s the star of Chuck and the voice of Flynn Ryder. He’s an ambassador for Operation Smile and a genuinely kind man. He’s Zachary Levi and I am constantly inspired by him. Doesn’t hurt that he’s 6’3″ and loves Jesus! He has often been called the King of the Nerds. He leads the charge and finds a way to give back every chance he gets.

#3: Wil Wheaton
66b9b9a4deb32aba3583843d7396bca3

It was the early 90’s and one of my favorite shows to watch with my mom and dad was Star Trek: The Next Generation. And since I was between the age of 5 and 12 when TNG was on the air, I was the perfect age to fall head first in love with the dashing, young Wesley Crusher. He was just a kid and he was serving on the USS Starship Enterprise. Be still my preteen heart! Later I would come to admire Wil for his work in Felicia Day’s web series, The Guild and as himself on The Big Bang Theory and just for the all around nerdy dude he is. He can also be seen as the host of Geek and Sundry’s Table Top. Wesley Crusher was not a favorite among TNG watchers, but Wil didn’t let that stop him from becoming the nerdy icon that he is today!

#4 – John Boyega

9d75dbb4cc9022286a3d0ae6bce4f5e2

No, he didn’t make the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs, but now he knows someone who did. John Boyega is one of the lucky stars who will be in a little film called, Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens (maybe you’ve heard of it.) As a bonafide fanboy himself, one imagines that when the call came in that he’d gotten a part in the biggest movie of our time that he ‘Squee’d’ the ‘Squee’ of a thousand nerds, especially since he’s a Star Wars nerd himself. We don’t know much about his character other that his name is Finn and he now has a chance to wield Luke/ Anakin Skywalker’s lightsaber and we don’t know why. (Dear Lord, let December come swiftly!!!) It is a joy to watch him at conventions and press junkets, because he is truly one of us. A nerd to the core…inside and out. And we are proud to have him represent his people in the Star Wars Universe!

#5: Veronica Roth

c2a1b9d855b999aebfabc6aaf635499b

Another nerd to the core. I started out liking Veronica Roth as the author of the Divergent series. It’s a great set of books with a compelling story and I like to support the people that create things I like. And then I saw her at Book Con last year and at Geeky Con this year and that’s when I realized that she is one of us. Truly, madly, deeply one of us. Dressed in her Draco Malfoy cosplay and talking about which house she’d be sorted to if she ever went to Hogwarts. Veronica Roth is a bonafide nerd and we nerds gotta stick together!!

Honorable Mention: My Little Brother

wpid-img_20141025_115727.jpg

I love all the nerds I mentioned above, but this nerd is the nerd who made me into a nerd! If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t have watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Power Rangers or Batman: the Animated Series. I would probably still be a Star Wars fangirl (that one was written in the stars) but I might not have the deep understanding of the SW Universe that I have from knowing this guy. My younger (not littler) brother, Jeremy. He is the coolest nerd I know. He taught me how to nerd. And if you are looking for someone to share a road trip with…he is your guy. Plus he comes complete with Star Wars sleeping bag and audio books. He’s a nerdy boy scout, which means he’s always prepared to nerd!

Which nerds/ geeks/ dorks inspire you??

Favorite Theme Park Rides

To say I love theme parks would be a gross understatement. I simply adore them. I put my hair up in pigtails, find the most nerd appropriate shirt for the occasion and I just go wild! It’s like I’m 5 years old again. And I was an adorable 5 year old!!

image

#1 – Star Tours & The Great Movie Ride

Photo from Disney
Photo from Disney

These 2 rides hold a special place in my heart because they have been around for a very long time! And I used to ride them as a kid. Not to mention the obvious love for all things Star Wars and the movies in general! I have yet to ride the updated Star Tours ride, but I loved the old cheesy version, so I have every confidence that the new version will not disappoint. (It takes a lot to disappoint me!)

#2 – Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringott’s

image

This ride is a brand new obsession! I got to go to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter for my birthday last year and I think the world magical accurately describes every single minute of a day spent exploring Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade and Hogwarts. But it’s the brand new ride in the bank vaults of Gringott’s that was my favorite part. The ride makes you feel like you’re in the movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It was so wonderful and I can’t wait to go back and give the park another go. If you come to the greater Orlando area after July 2015 and need a theme park buddy, I’m your girl!!!

#3 – Kingda Ka

kingda_ka_1
Photo from Six Flags

I LOVE roller coasters!! I always try to chicken out at the last moment, when I’m strapped in and regretting the wait in line and the stairs I just climbed. But it’s too late, I made my choice! And as the roller coaster climbs higher and higher, I think I might throw up or scream or cry, but then the wind hits my face and we go careening to the ground and my heart is racing and I know that this is the closest I will ever get to flying and the feeling is exhilarating! The very moment the ride ends, I’m back in line for another go around. And the cycle starts all over again!  (And added shout out to Six Flag’s Safari at Great Adventures. It too is amazing. Though not technically a ride, per se.)

#4 – Splash Mountain

Photo from Disney
Photo from Disney

This is an obvious choice! A trip to Disney is never complete without a ride on Splash Mountain. And every time I go to The Magic Kingdom, I have to go at least 2 or 3 times. I love Brer Rabbit and Brer Bear! And again, this one has a touch of roller coaster to it. I love the drop before the last drop when you know that last drop is coming and you get that feeling in the pit of your stomach like you might fly out of your log, but you don’t. And it’s amazing!

#5 – Pirates of the Caribbean

pirates-of-the-caribbean-00
Photo from Disney

This is another ride that holds a lot of nostalgia for me. Growing up in Orlando allowed me many opportunities to go to Disney World. Class trips, family fundays. Not to mention that it was much cheaper back in the day. (Yeah, I’m official old for saying that!) This ride has also been updated since I was a kid and the updates still allow it to be a cheesy pirate ride, but incorporates the Jack Sparrow factor from the wildly successful movie franchise. Plus, it’s always been a pirate’s life for me!!

image

Like I said, if you ever need a theme park buddy, I’m your girl! Theme parks like Disney and Universal and Wet n’ Wild and Busch Gardens are amazing on their own, but with a Lizzie in tow… they become shamazing!!! Seriously!

5 Magical Items I’d Love to Own

I love magic! I believe in magic and I really want to be apart of the magical realm. Here are the items I most wish to wield!

#1 – A Wand

056c29b48d8d74af7262c8c349304cbc

Duh! I want to go to Ollivander’s and find out what my wand core is made of. Is it Dragon heart string, Phoenix feather, Unicorn tail hair or something else heretofore unknown in the wand world? And what kind of wood would be used to craft my wand? Ash wood, Elder wood, Cherry wood, Rosewood, Walnut? My favorite spell is Alohomora (I even named my phone after this spell.) And to do said spell, I need my wand!!

#2 – Mjolnir

Photo from Indestructables
Photo from Indestructables

I’m not really sure what real world applications Thor’s hammer would have for me in my day to day existence. But I know that if it were possible to have one… I’d want it. If for nothing else than for it to be a pretty clear cut “Don’t Mess With Me!” This would be useful on the subways or walking on busy streets. You just don’t mess with a girl holding a magical Asgardian hammer. You just don’t!

#3 – Dorothy’s Slippers

93188bf230996291db21d6057e4b8666

I live very far away from a lot of loved ones, so these appeal to me as a cheap and quick means of transportation. Practical and fashionable… sign me up!

#4 – Aladdin’s Magic Carpet

7635f35b361a33841a8fd5e7038a8dd4

Another fun mode of transportation. This one is a little more romantic than the ruby slippers, cause there’s room for two. Looking for the perfect thing to do on date night? Grab that magic carpet and take it for a spin. The possibilities are endless.

#5 – Lightsaber

Photo from Finkbuilt.com

Now, I think you know me a little better than that. Lightsaber belongs at the top of the list. It belongs at the top of every list! But it’s not technically a magical object. The crystal inside the lightsaber could be considered somewhat magical, but it’s more of a religious item that harnesses the power of the Force and therefore allows the Jedi or Sith who wields it to connect to the blade and become one with their weapon through the Force. But you probably already knew that!

What magical objects will you be standing in line for once they are made available?

My 13 Fictional BFF’s

As all of my real life, non-fictional friends will know, I’m a very social person. And I love friends. I love to surround myself with people who are smarter and prettier and just all around better than me. It makes me a better person. It gives me something to aspire to. 5 fictional BFF’s seems mean cause so many fictional friends will get left out. So in honor of Friday the 13th, I will choose 13 BFF’s instead. Seems a more realistic number. Thanks to The Nerdy Girlie and Super Space Chick for the topic!!

I’ve decided not to explain each choice, cause they all really make perfect sense!!
